There are many benefits of online therapy. In our fast-paced and busy lives, working together online means that therapy can be flexible, not just in terms of when but where; we can be talking in different parts of the world and I will continue to be accessible even if you are moving around, for example, on holiday or for work commitments.
Online therapy is safe and I am bound to the same rules of managing privacy and confidentiality as with any other therapy.
My experience is that sitting in different rooms and talking through a screen does not affect the effectiveness of therapy, neither does it affect the therapeutic relationship.
Finally, online therapy can save you time and money by cutting out travel and other expenses spent elsewhere.
